Oniqua Analytics Solution 6.3

Oniqua is delighted to announce a new benchmark in MRO Optimization software with the general availability release of OAS 6.3.  This new version delivers a step-change in product usability and effectiveness. 

Changes in this new version, released as Version 6.3 SP3, have been largely driven by the User Advisory Program.  This program incorporates several Oniqua-Client collaboration initiatives including product change requests (PCRs), Oniqua Blog, End User Workshops and User Advisory Forum.
OAS 6.3 SP3 contains enhancements and fixes across the full range of MRO optimization.  The focus is on:

With near 18 months of development and enhancements, this version delivers new technologies, innovative features and improved functionality and is pre-configured with a high level of domain content and an associated implementation methodology. 

Some major changes and enhancements are:

• Workqueue functionality now monitors progress towards optimization objectives, reporting % completion each month against each data set
• Embedded web-browser in the Workbench supporting direct access to web-based OAS components – for example displaying the Metrics Viewer from within the Workbench. 
• Contextual reporting from within the Workbench including fast new report selection and parameter management sub-system  - supports single click reporting
• Dynamic Business Impact Builder which automatically reacts to changes in Equipment criticality by directly (or conditionally, or by generating an exception) changing material item business impact code
• Regional Safety Stock capability which shares safety stock across close geographic regions in an optimal way, thereby eliminating unnecessary duplicated safety stock.
• Demand Profiling has been enhanced to model AND maintain step-changes in inventory demand across individual or groups of items.
• Automated Report generation and distribution as part of the Periodic Update process. 
• All new best practice, pre-configured Procurement Workqueues
• Allows for the use of the OAS during Periodic Update Processes and optional refreshing of any existing working groups
• Automated application and validation of Service Pack updates
• Dozens of usability improvements

Oniqua Analytics Online Gen 2 - Better than Ever

Oniqua Analytics Online has undergone some changes in the past few months that mean it is now faster, more secure and easier to access from anywhere in the world at any time.  Now, with reduced deployment times, you can be up and running and benefiting from Oniqua’s solutions sooner.

What does this mean for you and how do we do it?

Through our partnership with Latisys Data Centres, and the use of new leading edge technologies, Analytics Online has been redesigned and rebuilt to ensure that Oniqua Analytics Online can deliver value sooner.  New web technologies and the use of new security protocols mean the requirement for IT involvement has been significantly reduced.

As long as you are using a computer with Windows XP SP3 or later, and you are connected to the internet, you can access Oniqua Analytics Online easily and painlessly.   It is as easy as browsing to the Analytics Online website, logging in through the secure portal and launching the application.  No need for complex VPN solutions or custom software to be installed; yet it runs just like any other piece of software on your computer allowing you to multi-task and run other applications at the same time.
Other enhancements include:

• The ability to have all of your favourite reports delivered on any schedule to your email, ready for review and distribution.
• Data is regularly replicated between data centres, so in the event of a disaster your environment will be up and running sooner.
• The flexibility to roll out development or test environments.
• Support for secured file transfer so your data is encrypted when uploading / downloading data from Analytics Online.
